snow day

Having a 18 month old brother gives me a good excuse to play in the snow and pelt my mother with snowballs.

Priorities

Clearly I've got this whole snowed-in deal down to a tee.  The weather is shite, buses aren't running properly, the snow outside is getting heavier and heavier, thicker and thicker on the ground. So really what else can I do?
Fried egg sarnie for brekkie, Constant stream of tea, and an intense amount of Black Ops. With the odd bit of uni work thrown in here and there for good measure.
I swear Activision plan for this. Seriously, why else release a game they know will be a massive seller in the middle of november? For days like this. I feel sorry for wives and girlfriends everywhere...well not really :P

I have not laughed that hard in ages. Because an acquaintance sent me a link to a picture of a cute little hamster clad in leather bondage gear, I fell upon a website full of silly imagery. And I don't know why, but for some reason, this one image had me crying with laughter. I think she regrets sending me that link.

Holy Crap!!

I think its time I did a new post! How long has it been, like.... *counts on fingers* eight months since my last post?! Hah, well talk about Mr. Up to Date. Actually to be fair, I lost my login details, then forgot about this blog. Then remembered, then couldn't be bothered to try to get my login details back. Then forgot again, and then remembered, then got them back, and then didnt bother to blog for a while. But I'm here now and thats all that counts.

So! Whats new? Lets see.....

My artwork is getting better. Dreamwalkers becoming more and more like a visual concept than an Idea trapped inside my head. Yes thats right, I have physical concepts drawn out, and scripts. Actual scripts! Bet you never thought you'd hear that from me! Oh for those of you who don't know me so well I have this annoying tendency to come up with an idea, expand and develop it over a long period of time, to the point of completion....and then never put it down on paper. =/ Probably why no-one knows about Demon Core or Eclipse. But False prophets be silenced! Dreamwalker is coming! I think thats all the important shiz out the way. Oh yeah, and I have a beard. And god damn do I love my beard. I will never be unbearded again! So yeah. I feel majorly like a humungus prick right now. I also know how Anakin Skywalker felt at the end of Revenge of the Sith, (before he melted in lava) and how misguided those feelings were. So! I have decided, rather than try to take over the galaxy, that it's in my best interest, to get absolutely shitfaced tonight and drown out all of the crap from the last two weeks. And then I feel I really must escape from this town for a little while before I go crazy. As soon as possible preferably. And I must not check my facebook at all while I'm gone. Really. I wanna shut everything away, except my joshi baby cuz I loves him and mr. Rootopher. =]

Fuck my last two posts. Wish I'd never bothered. However, venting was nessacary.

Not sure I can really class today as a productive day because I think I only got half a page of work done at Uni today, and by half a page I mean I did a five minute doodle in my sketchbook.

Do you know what I blame. Flash. Adobe Macromedia Flash. That bloody program gives me a headache. I hate writing actionscript. HATE IT. I can't do it, I'm an artist not a programmer. I don't care if it works properly as long as it looks pretty!!

So, instead of spending the afternoon writing actionscript me and my mate dan spent the afternoon watching some hilarious fails on youtube and some very painful ones too. Thus I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing better than watching A. People falling on their face. B. people getting taken out by big exercise balls and C. Fat people falling over. I apologise for the last one but its soooooo true.

So yeah, no actionscript induced headache, I now have a headache from laughing too much. Karma? quite likely

This is a design for a character named Mason Walker wearing his Barrage armor. For my comic book Eclipse. May change the book title, even though thats the title its had for the last 6 years its been in conception. woah, has it really been 6 years? I need to get my arse in gear and start working towards trying to get published.

First Entry

Well thus begins a new chapter in the crapfactory that I manage to spew out on a regular basis. Hopefully, god willing I stay slightly sane (or the opposite as is more likely the case) then I will keep this regularly updated with stuff, ya know? Like random stuff. Mostly babble and hopefully lots of my work I produce, if I ever can be bothered to actually do anything. So look forward to it chappies!
